Whenever our communities need us, Lighthouse always strives to provide the best possible solutions and advise our clients in time of need. We are able to respond and adapt in midst of difficult circumstances. As the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) begins to have a greater impact, we want to share with you the actions Lighthouse is taking across our entire organization to safeguard the health and well-being of our employees, our clients, and our communities.
Like many others, our teams are closely following guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), and other local and national health organizations.
We are strongly encouraging our clients to avoid unnecessary public outings and use teleconferencing for meetings, when possible. Our managers will be providing teleconferencing numbers and links for upcoming board meetings. While we are required by Florida State Statute to list a physical location in meeting notices, actual attendance at the physical address is strongly discouraged. We encourage you to join the meeting via the comfort and safety of your own home.
We also encourage you to visit the CDC's website and Florida Health for up-to-date information on how to keep your family and yourself healthy. Meanwhile, Lighthouse will continue to focus on keeping our clients satisfied - our offices open - to serve and support our communities.
Take care of yourself and each other,
Your Lighthouse Team
