Lighthouse Partners with Agape Flights for Hurricane Relief

We definitely dodged a bullet with Hurricane Dorian. Unfortunately, the deadly storm stalled over Grand Bahama Island at 185 MPH. It remained a Category 5 for more than 24 hours before downgrading yesterday to a Category 2 with winds around 110 MPH.

In an effort to respond to Hurricane Dorian’s devastation in the Bahamas Agape Flights is collecting and flying relief supplies. Agape is watching the movement of Hurricane Dorian, as well as airport conditions, and will begin flying relief flights as soon as it’s safe. Currently, they are planning to fly relief supplies to Agape mission partners in Eleuthera, Bahamas this Friday to set up a staging site to assist evacuees from Grand Bahamas and the Abacos and expect to make many flights over the next few weeks. I will be collecting relief supply items at the executive office up until next Wednesday, September 11th. Any of the below supplies are greatly appreciated!
