Sarasota County has launched a new mass notification system for rapid emergency updates called ALERT Sarasota County. This service sends alerts via phone, text and/or email, depending on user preference. 

Manage your alert subscriptions at any time by visiting this website and registering for notifications. Opt-in for alert subscriptions offered by the county or your local municipality: Sarasota, Venice North Port and Town of Longboat Key.

ABOUT CODERED: Alert Sarasota County, which replaces the CodeRED notification system, will be used to communicate public health and safety alerts, including severe weather, sewage spills, mosquito management and boil water notices.
